Launching AI-generated podcasts to viral fame
NotebookLM is Google's AI study tool — research, summarize, ask. Hook made the launch films for three flagship features, including Audio Overviews: the AI-generated podcast feature that became the internet's favorite Google product of 2024. As motion director I assembled the team (Hook staff and freelance), built the pipeline, and owned motion direction across all three films.
Audio Overviews went viral on release. Google reused the launch film's design language for the NotebookLM landing page, and Hook has continued shipping feature walkthroughs and motion work for the product since.
